The Past 12 Months

I realized three things yeaterday. First, that I am a very bad blogger. Second, that a lot of things have happened in the past twelve months. Third, that it was our six month anniversary and neither of us remembered it until around lunch.

On that note, I will try to do better on the whole blogging thing and below is a list of the top 10 things that have happened in the past twelve months.

1) Got Married
2) Moved to Lyman
3) Changed Jobs
4) Traveled (Jamaica, Snowshoe, Florida, New Orleans, Jesup, Wagener, Lagrange/Auburn, etc.)
5) Became an Aunt
6) Moved Again (not me this time but moving John's stuff in was just as bad)
7) Did Tons of Yard Work (when builders put in landscaping is it minimal at best)
8) Sold the House in Easley (finally!) and Rented the Condo in Greenville
9) Attempted to Grow a Garden
10) Got a New Dog Sibling (that would be my parents' dog in case you were wondering)

It seemed like a much crazier year before I tried to make a list. Oh well, you get the point.

Honeymoon Pictures

Everybody keeps asking for wedding pictures and unfortunately everybody else had the cameras so I do not have any. If anybody has any pictures, I would love for you to send them to me. It will be a few weeks before I get the ones
For the time being, I am going to post some pictures from our honeymoon in Jamaica. We had a great time. The all inclusive resort was the way to go.

The main pool

Part of the Beach

This amused me. Every morning people came out and cleaned the seaweed from the bottom of the ocean. I think they were trying to give us the illusion the the bottom was just white sand.

The watersports area - sailing, ocean kayaking, snorkeling, trikes, and wind surfing
We tried everything except the wind surfing because we waited until the last day for it and it was too windy. They would not let us go out.

John says this is the space center in Florida. I just thought it was cool looking. This is from the plane on the way back.

Color Clay Cafe

The first event at my bachelorette party was painting pottery at the Color Clay Cafe in Greenville. Each of the girls painted a piece and gave it to me. I picked the blue color and everybody had to use it so that it would coordinate with my china. The pieces turned out great.

Bridal Luncheon Dresses

You all know I am indecisive when it come to clothing, so it is time for another opinion. Below are the dress options for the bridal luncheon. Apparently I only own black bresses so most of these are borrowed. A couple of them are mine. Anyway, let me know what you think. Also, if any of them seem good for Jamiaca let me know that too. I am sorry for the quality of the pictures. I had to use the timer option on the camera.

Stupid Weather!

It is supposed to rain for seven days straight in Ashveille, with Saturday being right in the middle. I guess my hopes of the rain making it through a little early are gone. I guess I will just keep watching and start thinking about how I will set up the fireplace ceremony.

Weather Forecast

The wedding day has made it on to the 10 day forecast. So far there is not a big change of rain (10% chance) and the temperatures will be high of 53 low of 39. I would like a little warmer, but it's not terrible. It is supposed to rain the two days before, so hopefully the rain will move through in time.
